Central High School went up against Natrona County High School on Friday, October 24, 2025. Central took the lead in the first quarter with a score of 6-0. After the first quarter, Central could not maintain the lead or outscore Natrona the rest of the game. In the end, Natrona won 21 to 12. Central will face Natrona again on October 31 in Casper during the first round of football playoffs.
Even though Central lost, they had an emotional half time with Senior Night. Families walked onto the track with their sons for the last time. Coaches, teachers, and students wished the seniors the best for their future. Some players plan to go to college, some to trade schools, some on mission trips; some hope to continue playing football. Throughout their 4 years at Central, the athletes expressed gratitude for being able to play and for the great memories that came from their time on the team. Some teachers teared up on the sideline, realizing their time with these students is winding down fast but wishing them the best.
