On November 14, 2025, Zuill Bailey, Grammy winning Cellist, visited Central High School to meet with orchestra students from the 3 high schools in town. South, East and Central’s orchestra classes got to listen to Zuill Bailey talk about his career and to hear him perform for them. Zuill performed two pieces for the students, one part of his solo for tan upcoming concert with Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra. Then he played another piece he always plays to warm up. Zuill didn’t just play for them, he also went on to talk about his experiences as a cello player from the very start, giving students tips on playing, how to deal with being nervous and explaining how he looks at different things when playing. Zuill also shared some of his personal life with the students talking about is older son.
Zuill Bailey is a Grammy Award winning cellist, winning the best classical instrumental solo in 2017. He plays around the world with different orchestras as well as performing solo engagements to build his career as a cello player. He does enjoy meeting and greeting with people and students from around the world like this at Central. Zuill Bailey is an outgoing, honest person. When talking with him, he gets straight to the point but still is honest and caring.
