On October 18th, Cheyenne Central’s marching band will be heading off to State! They’ve worked very hard, and their #1 fans, the Central Spirit Squad, will be there to cheer them on and wish them luck as they are leaving for state.
The band and color guard have spent months perfecting a thrilling performance that tells a chilling and exciting story of aliens through their powerful music. Under the direction of Zamboni Brown, this state festival will give our talented marching band the chance to show their skills not just to Cheyenne, but to the entire state of Wyoming. One band member gave a little insight into how they think the band will do, “I believe we will do really well” said this member of the band. Talking to a fellow student, this student outlined the impact the band always has at the football games saying, “it truly is an triumphant moment to hear the school song play as we get a touchdown.”
The Spirit Squad is so excited to see how our band performs and wants to thank them for always showing so much support to the Spirit Squad! The Spirit Squad is proud to return the favor and send them off with all the energy and luck that a cheer squad could ever give!
The band brings the noise and the cheer squad brings the motion, and together they are the voice of the crowd.
